Making Good – Our Pathway Forward

At Exposure Group, Making Good is more than a belief — it’s our pathway forward. It shapes how we design, source, build, and deliver branded environments with purpose and responsibility. Our commitments reflect this ethos in action: grounded, measurable, and future-focused.

From reducing carbon emissions to rethinking materials and embracing ethical, inclusive practices, we’re building a better future — one project at a time.

Climate Action

Commitment: Reduce and offset greenhouse gas emissions across operations.

Focus Areas:

  • Operate as a Net Zero Carbon business – achieved 30 June 2024
  • Offset 100% of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions across all projects
  • Partner with trace to measure our carbon footprint and offset emissions through verified carbon reduction projects worldwide

Disclose environmental risks, opportunities, and impacts transparently through CDP (SME B rating, 2024).

9R Framework

Refuse what doesn’t add value. We design waste out from the start — eliminating products, materials, or resources before they’re even created. By saying no early, we deliver branded environments that are smarter, leaner, and truly sustainable.

Rethink what a branded environment can be. We challenge conventions and design smarter systems — modular, reusable, and flexible — that shift the focus from one-off builds to long-term impact. By rethinking early, we create solutions that are both creative and circular.

Reduce the footprint, increase the value. By optimising design and fabrication, we minimise material use, transport, and emissions — lowering costs for clients while maximising efficiency. The result is branded environments that are lighter on the planet but stronger in impact.

Reuse to get more from every build. We design environments that can be packed, stored, and reassembled across multiple applications — maintaining quality and brand consistency. By extending asset lifecycles, clients reduce costs, cut waste, and gain maximum return on investment.

Repair is designed in from the start. Our environments are built so every element — from structures to finishes — can be restored, refinished, or replaced. By making repairability a core feature, we extend the life of the entire display and avoid the waste of full rebuilds.

Refurbish to achieve more with less. By updating existing environments with new finishes, graphics, and details, we give brands a fresh look without the impact of a rebuild. It’s a smart way to meet new goals, cut costs, and reduce environmental footprint.

Remanufacture to transform and renew. We rework existing structures into fresh, tailored solutions — adapting materials and components to meet new creative goals. This approach reduces demand for new resources while delivering environments that look and perform like brand new.

Repurpose to unlock new possibilities. We adapt existing assets for different uses — turning exhibition structures into retail displays or reworking signage for activations. By finding new functions for what already exists, we save resources while giving brands fresh and flexible solutions.

Recycle to close the loop. We carefully select materials that can be recycled and, at end of life, ensure timber, aluminium, plastics, and more are responsibly processed. By designing with recycling in mind, we keep resources in circulation and reduce the impact of every environment.

Circular Economy

Commitment: Design out waste and keep materials in use.

Focus Areas:

Apply the 9R Framework: Refuse, Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Refurbish, Remanufacture, Repurpose, Recycle

  • Prioritise reusability, recyclability, and modularity in every project
  • Ensure material lifecycle management, with 100% of timber, metal and cardboard responsibly recycled
  • Optimise production to minimise offcuts and waste

Ethical & Inclusive Operations

Commitment: Uphold human rights, equity, and responsible governance.

Focus Areas:

  • Maintain a strong framework of ethical sourcing, supplier transparency, and fair labour practices
  • Support a diverse, inclusive workplace, backed by clear HR and social policies
  • Engage local communities and stakeholders, and contribute to broader positive social outcomes through carbon offset projects

Sustainable Innovation

Commitment: Embed sustainability into every solution.
