The Museum of Australian Democracy engaged Exposure Group to deliver the refresh of its “DEMOCRACY: ARE YOU IN?” (DAYI) exhibition — a public-facing installation located on the Main Floor of Old Parliament House. The exhibition encourages visitors to explore how everyday Australians shape democracy, highlighting real stories of civic participation and its impact on decision-making and national life.
The project required a careful and sensitive approach, balancing heritage constraints, museum-grade craftsmanship, and the need for seamless integration with existing exhibition elements. Exposure Group delivered new exhibition joinery, refined finishes, and surface preparation for updated interpretive graphics, all executed within an active museum environment.
The result is a refreshed, cohesive exhibition experience that maintains the character of Old Parliament House while supporting MoAD’s mission to inspire public engagement with Australia’s democratic story.
We cover all aspects of the design and build process, from conception to completion, to ensure that every project is executed with the highest level of quality and attention to detail.
